Hockey players of the junior team "Humboldt Broncos", who survived in a car accident on April 6, were brought to the hospital by the Stanley Cup. This is reported by ESPN.

"My son immediately suspected that he was inside the box in which the Stanley Cup was brought. His bed was the first stop of the trophy in the hospital. The eyes of my son immediately expanded when he saw the Stanley Cup, "- said the father of one of the hockey players.

The accident occurred on April 6 30 km north of the city of Tisdale (Saskatchewan province) when a heavy truck with a semitrailer at the crossroads of two roads literally rammed the bus.

In total there were 29 people at the time of the accident, 14 of which died on the spot and 15 were hospitalized. Later two more victims died in the hospital. The police still do not report the causes of the traffic accident.
