Operation on rescue of fans of ice fishing from the torn off ice has come to the end. On Monday morning dozens of amateur fishermen took to the ice in Mordvinova Bay off the southeast coast of the island. And this is despite the previously sent out by the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Measures through the media and SMS-sending a warning about the possible separation of ice in the Gulf.

Half a kilometer from the shore, ice broke off, the width of the crack quickly reached 10 meters and continued to increase. Those fishermen who were closer to the crack, managed to cross and report the incident in the Ministry of Emergency Situations. On the ice length of a few kilometers left about fifty ice-lovers. The rescue operation involved 19 employees of the Ministry of Emergency Measures and 9 units of equipment, including rubber boats and a hovercraft "Khivus". All rescued fishermen feel normal, at least, not a single.

Earlier, rescuers rescued fishermen from the ice of Gertner Bay in the Magadan Region. Only people were evacuated, the cars remained on ice. One of the survivors had a heart attack.

In the Leningrad region, rescuers are constantly rescuing people from the ice of Lake Ladoga. So on April 5, 10 people were taken ashore.
