As of February 11, the excess of the epidemiological threshold exceeded 17 percent. In five regions of Ukraine in Vinnytsia, Volyn, Zhytomyr, Rivne and Khmelnytsky regions, all schools were closed for weekly quarantine.
To date, ARVI has fallen ill 258 thousand Ukrainians, more than 70 percent of them are children under 16 years old. Complications were recorded in 105 people:
in 101 cases, RNA of type B influenza virus was detected, in 4 cases, type A influenza.
In Kiev and the Kiev region, the health committe also announced a weekly quarantine, the incidence in the capital was about five thousand people.
Doctors say that the regional incidence of the disease is associated with the peak of ARVI activity in the winter off-season.
As reported in "Ura-Inform", on February 13, in the Kiev region all schools in several settlements were closed for quarantine.
