At the same time, the State Emergency Council today warns of increased wind gusts.

According to Ukrgidromettsentra, gusts of wind on Tuesday can reach 15-20 meters per second.

In addition, on January 30-31, due to a thaw, water levels in the rivers are expected to rise. In particular, this applies to the rivers of the Syan and Dniester basins in the Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. Here, water can rise by 0.2-0.8 meters, as well as the rivers of the West Bug basin - by 0.1-0.5 meters.

The department was warned about the possible destruction of the ice cover, in some places the ice drift, and the formation of ice jams with a sharp fluctuation in water levels, possible in this case.

But in the mountains of Ivano-Frankivsk and the high mountains of the eastern part of the Transcarpathian regions, according to weather forecasters, on January 30, due to snow and snowstorms, a significant snow-fall hazard is expected to third level.



Recall, heavy snowfalls that took place in the Odessa region as early as January 18, de-energized more than 500 settlements in the region. Since then, in cities and villages, electricity has been gradually restored.

As reported yesterday URA-Inform, as of Monday morning in Ukraine remained without electricity supply 12 settlements. All of them - in the Odessa region.
