Basically it concerns the water bodies of the west of the country. This is reported on Monday by the press service of the State Service of Ukraine for Emergencies.
The ministry reports that it refers to the data of the Ukrgidromettsentr, in particular, the rise in water levels is expected on the rivers of the Syan and Dniester basins in Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. At the same time here, water can rise by 0.2-0.8 meters, and on the rivers of the Western Bug basin - by 0.1-0.5 meters.
It is also possible the destruction of the ice cover and the ice drift, as well as the possible formation of ice jams with a sharp fluctuation in water levels, - commented on possible complications of the operational situation in the rivers in the State Emergency Service.
Recall, as reported URA-Inform, on the night of Monday, January 29, the water level in the river Seine, because of which the flood continues in Paris, peaked. The water in the river rose to a mark of 5.84 meters.
