The Secretary General asserts that it is high time for the world community to agree on a common policy of behavior with migrants, which calls for the conclusion of a global treaty on migration. The European official is sure that this will help to debunk the myths about the loss and total harm that migrants allegedly bring to the recipient state.
Gutterish also highlighted the main benefits that the state receives when accepting migrants. These people not only fill those specialties that are considered unpopular and unprofitable in society, but also stimulate the internal labor market to constantly raise the social standards of life.
"The rule of law needs to be strengthened, which is the basis for working with migrants and measures to protect them," - sums up the Portuguese.
