According to her, the reduction should be economically justified, otherwise the state can lose billions of dollars of budget savings. To do this, it is necessary to obtain from the Ministry of Economic Development an approximate map of the development of the automotive industry in the country for the next six months.

Southerner recalled that the very reduction of duties is a long process, because the department needs to get approval from the cities, as well as data on the throughput of Ukrainian roads.

The official is sure that the example of the European Union, which has a duty-free border fee, easily compensates for these financial losses with the help of an environmental tax, and in most of Europe it is simply "draconian".
