This is reported by the publication Courier Mail.

According to Health Minister Greg Hunt, the government made such changes, because the growing production of medical marijuana products is facing increasing competition from imports.

He also believes that allowing the export of medical marijuana will help the developing domestic market to grow further.

By the way, the use of medical marijuana in Australia was legalized in 2016.

As previously reported, "URA-Inform", the Constitutional Court of Georgia, abolished the criminal penalty for the use of marijuana. Thus, from now on, the use of cannabis and marijuana is no longer considered a criminal offense and does not fall under the article "Illegal manufacture, purchase, storage in small amounts for personal use or illegal consumption without the prescription of a doctor of narcotic drugs, their analogues or precursors".
