It is reported that the fixation will be introduced for all foreigners and Russians who will be forced to hand over fingerprints, as well as to provide special individual data that will be stored in the electronic catalog. Biometric control will be used from January 1, 2018 on the following border sections:.
- on the line of passport control;.
- in vehicles traveling abroad;.
- in the parking lot of vehicles traveling abroad;.
- in the offices of the State Border Service of Ukraine;.
- outside checkpoints and seaports.
In the event that a person is not ready to provide his individual information, he will not be allowed to cross the Ukrainian border.
As reported in the "URA-Inform", earlier in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine told about the details of the program of biometric control on the Ukrainian-Russian border.
