In 2000, the total percentage of migrants on the planet was two and a half percent of the total number of people. Now this figure has exceeded the mark of three and a half percent, despite the fact that every day 10 thousand people are forced to leave their habitats in search of better living conditions. This is not counting the level of already urbanized migrants and those who are currently in temporary camps for settlers.
Half of all migrants live in ten countries. Record champions were the United States, Russia and Germany. Each of the countries receives 12 million migrants and refugees.
As reported in the "URA-Inform", the EU plans to train the Libyan police to combat illegal migrants.
