The representatives of the commission are sure that Ukraine has every right to spread its language throughout its territory, to ensure the strengthening of the state language and its domination by all means. At the same time, the draft law contains provisions that do not strictly regulate the situation of the languages ??of national minorities, in particular, Russian, as the most common in the territory of Ukraine. Article Seven of the Law is significantly different from the draft law, which was consulted with minorities.
Experts of the commission suggested that the Ukrainian leadership introduce the teaching of minority languages ??in the primary classes of individual groups of students.
As reported in "URA-Inform", Hungary recently put forward new conditions regarding the Ukrainian law "On Education".
