The prosecutor's office of the Sverdlovsk region rose to protect residents of the village of Shala and the surrounding settlements that use the hemodialysis service in the Pervouralsk city hospital. The department forced the local medical institution to provide transport for the delivery of patients to the procedures.

Verification of the prosecutor's office conducted after the treatment of one of the patients. Shali Hospital does not have the necessary equipment and specialists to provide hemodialysis services, which is why the patients had to go to Pervouralsk hospital three times a week on public or private transport.

The main problem was the danger of using public transport for dialysis patients.

The procedure is fraught with side effects, including in the form of fainting and seizures. And if the side effects were manifested in the way, the bus driver will not be able to risk the lives and health of the other passengers.

In this regard, the prosecutor's office filed a lawsuit against the Shali hospital with a request to arrange transportation of patients to Pervouralsk and back. The department offered to finance the activities of the Ministry of Health of the Sverdlovsk region.
