OJSC RZD opened the sale of tickets to the reserved and common cars of long-distance trains starting from January 1, 2018. Travel documents can be purchased at the ticket offices of the St. Petersburg Railway from 00:00 on November 17.

"Holding" RZD "will keep the depth of the sale of travel documents at 60 days: tickets were issued for the dates of departure of trains until January 15, 2018 inclusive. Passengers will be able to issue them at the ticket offices of railway stations and agencies, as well as on the official web-portal of JSC Russian Railways and the application "RZD to Passengers", - the press service of the SRO.

Recall, November 16 at a meeting of the Government of the Russian Federation, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev instructed the head of RZD Oleg Belozerov to resume the sale of reserved seats.

"Not so long ago the issue of selling tickets for reserved seats and common cars with the departure date of January 1, 2018. We need to resume everything, right from the middle of this month, "- said the head of the Cabinet.

The appropriate assignments Medvedev gave RZhD, the Transport Ministry and the Antimonopoly Service.

RZD has stopped selling tickets to the reserved seat and general wagons of long-distance trains since November 3 due to the lack of FAS decision on tariffs for the next year.
