According to the ministry, raising the water level in the river is expected at night from November 12 to November 13, local residents are advised to temporarily limit traffic on this day and to protect themselves from possible floods. Rise of water is expected in Lviv, Volyn, Rivne, Zhytomyr regions is expected to increase the water level on the tributaries of Pripyat.
Such a sharp climatic change is associated with the rains that will cover the western regions of Ukraine in November. Formation of floods is expected within the channels, without the threat of negative consequences. However, it is recommended to take cattle and animals to a temporary shelter.
