In Greece, all media are on strike

Today, Greece does not broadcast news programs, sites do not update news feeds, and newspapers did not release fresh issues.

The Union of Journalists of Athens requires assistance from the government and media companies to keep the health fund of mass media workers afloat and not to close it.

Let's note, the Greek media were badly affected by the financial crisis in the country, which led to a sharp drop in advertising and subscription revenues. The strike must end at six o'clock on Wednesday.

Recall, as previously reported in the "URA-Inform", the Federal Bureau of Investigation began checking the news portal Sputnik. According to the information of the department, the federal bureau questioned one of the staff of Andrew Finebar, who provided an archive of his correspondence and thousands of other editors.
