The SBSU clarified that the border guards stopped UAZ vehicles of Ukrainian registration, which were moving in the direction of the Ukrainian Lower Baraniky and Russian Kalmykovka 50 m from the border with the Russian Federation.

It is reported that in cars there were nine Ukrainian citizens who transported about four tons of honey and honey pollen.



"To stop the perpetrators who were moving quickly towards the state border, the border guards had to carry out eight warning shots to the Kalashnikov assault rifle," the ministry added..

Currently, the detainees have drawn up protocols, the case was also sent to court, the cargo and cars were handed over to GFS representatives.

Recall, as previously reported in URA-Inform, for two quarters of 2017 Ukrainian exports to the European Union grew by almost a quarter compared to the same period last year.
