Since the beginning of the year, 110 women have been accepted for military posts in the Supreme Armed Forces

Since the beginning of the year, 110 women have been admitted to the military posts in the armed forces, said Anatoly Petrenko, director of the military policy, strategic planning and international cooperation department of the Defense Ministry.

A total of 53,703 women serve in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 3,209 of whom are officers.

Also, within the framework of the Commission for the Coordination of Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine, a working group on gender issues in the security and defense sector. This was during the fifth meeting of the Commission was informed by its chairman - Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Ivan Klimpush-Tsintsadze.

She stressed the need for the early establishment of an institute of gender advisers in law enforcement agencies.

Now the UN Women organization is completing a study on the need to introduce such an institution.
