The Prosecutor's Office of the Taborinsky District approved the indictment in the criminal case against two local residents who are charged with 1 st 109 of the Criminal Code (causing death by negligence).
The tragedy occurred on February 5, 2017. On the playground in the courtyard of a house in the village of Palmino, Taborinsky district, two domestic dogs tore up a little girl. Investigators found that animal owners did not ensure their maintenance in accordance with the requirements of the current legislation, left dogs for a long time without supervision, and did not take any measures to ensure the safety of others.
The criminal case was sent by the prosecutor to the Tavda regional court for consideration on the merits. The sanction of 1 st 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation provides for maximum punishment of imprisonment for up to two years.
