The fire began on Thursday, August 10, about three o'clock in the afternoon. According to the press service of the State Emergency Service in the region, it burns near the village of Vasilyevka in the forestry area.

At the scene, rescuers have determined that the forest litter burns in separate cells. About five o'clock in the afternoon the fire managed to be localized.

However, as of eight o'clock in the evening, the liquidation of the fire continues.

In total, six tankers and 30 personnel were involved.

In the extinguishing involved firefighting units Vasilievka, Zaporozhye, Dniproudorny, Stepnogorsk and Mikhailovka.
