On Friday morning, July 7, Russian mercenaries once again shelled the Lugansk TPP. Because of what the emergency shutdown of the high-voltage power supply line "Lisichanskaya 220 kV".

This was reported in the press service of the Lugansk regional state administration. According to the announcement, today, after midnight, as a result of enemy fire, Luganskaya TPP went out again.

Without electricity at two o'clock in the morning the whole territory of the Luhansk region remained. Social facilities, hospitals, switched to backup power sources - generators.

During this night until four o'clock in the morning, the damaged section of the power line was inspected, and the repair was started by employees of Ukrenergo at nine o'clock in the morning.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, as of the morning of Friday, July 7, in Lugansk region without light there are about 40 thousand subscribers. Electricity is not supplied due to damage to the main power transmission line to the cities of Severodonetsk, Lisichansk, Novodruzhevsk, Privolye, Svatovo, Kremnaya and Rubezhnoe.

According to the press service of the State Service of Ukraine for Emergencies, on the night of Friday, just after midnight, near the town of Schastye Lugansk region, according to preliminary data, a 220 kV transmission line. The cause of the damage is being established.
