To date, the cause of the catastrophe has been clarified - the pilot's infarction.
This is reported in the police communication department of the Rivne region.
The report says that according to medical opinion, the death of a 50-year-old pilot of the glider came as a result of an acute myocardial infarction with a heart wall rupture. The pilot died in flight, and the 25-year-old passenger - from the resulting injuries.
At the moment, criminal proceedings have been opened on the fact of the incident - violation of safety rules for the movement or operation of air transport under Part 3 of Article 276 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Earlier, URA-Inform reported that in Kiev there was a large-scale accident, five cars collided at once.
