Alternative future, or Why Shukhevych

I can not get around the theme of Shukhevych Avenue. Here, see. Imagine that in 2014 we are losing. Ukraine is occupied by the Russian army. Those who went to the Maidan were shot or exiled to Siberia. The construction of a happy united state with Russia begins.

Against this background, the conditional Turchinov goes underground, collects an army. The guerrilla war begins.

In order to undermine the rebel base, the invaders deploy information warfare against them. Disarmed in the form of the army of resistance FSBshniki rape women and shoot villages. In the media, fake Turchinov's statements are published, according to the type: "We will fight to the last drop of Ukrainian blood for the right to have brains of Russians and worship Satan".

In short, the total crucified boy begins. As a result, the special services of the invaders kill the leader of the resistance, they destroy the underground. Decades of children at school are taught that the Maidan was a conspiracy of Western imperialists aimed at plundering the fraternal peoples, and that the heroic militia led by Motorola liberated the Ukrainians from the NATO yoke. They tell us in the lessons about how the Bloody Pastor personally cut out a heart to a little boy in Slavyansk only because he turned to the punisher in Russian.

Many years pass. Ukraine regains its independence. In the capital they decide to name the street after Turchinov and demolish the monument to Motorola. And then the indignant public begins: "How? To the very one that the Satanist and the children of the heart carved? Do not forget, do not forgive! Do not touch the monument to the defender of the children of Motorola!". And in this sort of spirit.

It's amazing after all the work done by Volodymyr Viatrovych to see such discussions.

Seeing in spite of the fact that we are on our own skin and right now we are seeing how the Kremlin propaganda creates myths and distorts even the current events. The historical war between the FSB and the Kremlin is the information war of the NKVD and the Kremlin, frozen in amber, in the 1940s and 1950s. It's strange that understanding the absurdity of horror stories about a crucified boy, some with such an emphasis continue to replicate the myths about the UPA.

Do you think a crucified boy is a fairy tale for morons? No! A crucified boy is the reality of our grandchildren if we lose.

Therefore, yes, I do not understand why a man who fought for his people and for the creation of his state with the two most terrible empires in human history does not deserve the street in his honor.

And further. We are constantly talking about the future. But before we can find our own Ukrainian future, we need to find our own sovereign Ukrainian past. Only his awareness can become a common national foundation for building our common new.
