The report says that the National Bank of Ukraine is constantly working on optimizing the nominal number of banknotes, examining the needs of society and the economy for the adequacy of certain bank notes. However, with regard to printing a banknote in 1000 UAH, it was said that information about banknotes of Ukraine of new designs before the official announcement of the National Bank of Ukraine about them is a state secret.
And at the same time, only after the decision of the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine to introduce new types of banknotes into circulation, information about this will be made public.
Earlier, URA-Inform reported that a source in the NBU told about printing a banknote with a face value of one thousand hryvnia.
