Police found Lviv garbage in the Chernobyl zone

On the territory of the exclusion zone of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant on Monday, April 24, found Lviv garbage.

This was reported by the press service of the National Police in the Kiev region.



According to law enforcers, one of the heads of local self-government appealed to the Ivankov police station and reported that he had discovered heaps of dumped debris near the villages of Bober and Korolyovka.

During the inspection of the scene, it was found that there are 9 piles of garbage in the territory of the Chernobyl NPP zone. From every heap, policemen seized documents or their fragments confirming the origin of solid waste from Lviv, the report said..

On this fact, criminal proceedings were opened on. 239 (pollution or damage to lands) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
