Ukrainian producer and actor Yuriy Gorbunov revealed the peculiarities of cooperation with Hollywood star Sean Penn. The three-time Oscar winner played the showman “Pulling Chervona Ruta” in the showman’s film, for which he didn’t take a penny, but still there were some special demands from the rider. According to Gorbunov, the project team carefully ensured that no one filmed Sean Penn from the side.

In general, as the producer emphasized, their cooperation with the celebrity was based on good relationships, so, fortunately, he does not even know his fee. The showman spoke about this in a commentary for the project “Naodintsi with Glamor”.

" I don't know his fees. We had our friendship and interaction with our strategic partners " I don't know his fee, thank God. I think that if we had paid him a fee, we probably wouldn’t have made the movie,” said the TV presenter.

The creators of the Ukrainian film and all the points of its rider were not burdened in Sean Penn's team. As Gorbunov recalled, they only made sure that the Hollywood star was not filmed by other people again.

“He doesn’t like it when he’s in the frame and someone is filming on their phone from the side. We made sure no one was filming from the side. This is his entire rider that was available to us,” noted Gorbunov.

Note that Sean Penn joined the creation of the film “Potyag Chervona Ruta” during his visit to Ukraine in March of this year.

Interestingly, in order to come to our homeland, the celebrity even refused to personally receive the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in the film “One Battle After Another”. The Ukrainians thanked Sean Penn for such a broad gesture by presenting, instead of the famous golden figurine, a symbolic gift - a figurine made from the steel of a Ukrzaliznytsia carriage damaged as a result of Russian shelling.
