The famous chef and host of the program "Cooking together" on the "Inter" TV channel Andrei Dromov set a new culinary record, this time the world. On September 8, in the town of Vilkovo, Odessa region, together with his colleagues, he cooked 5 tons of soup according to the Lipovan recipe.

"Prior to this event, I prepared a maximum of a thousand people, now I mastered a dish for 15 thousand servings! - says Andrey Dromov. - It was very cool to work in such a team. Well, the fact that we set a record caused a lot of excitement and interest ".

To make this amount of fish soup, it took 1700 kg of fish, 650 kg of potatoes, 250 kg of carrots and a bucket of salt. Boil the ear started at six in the morning and only by 14:00 finished. Especially for this culinary masterpiece, a 6 tonne cauldron made of food stainless steel with a diameter of 3 meters and a height of 1.5 meters was made at the shipyard.

"I really love Vilkovski ear, and I often cook it myself," admits Andrei. - My secret of cooking this dish is in adding manga, although this ingredient is not in the traditional recipe. Another condition for the preparation of this soup is the use of at least four fish species. This time we had six: sturgeon, catfish, carp, carp, crucian carp and zander.

A new record - the maximum volume of fish soup in a cauldron - was set in the framework of the Gastronomic Festival "Danube Gostiny" and recorded by a representative of the National Record of Ukraine.

The soup, cooked in Vilkovo, also broke the world record. Prior to this record in the preparation of fish soup belonged to the Macedonians, who welded 3.5 tons of traditional chorba.
