The tabloid was fined € 100,000 for the "bare" photo of Kate Middleton.

French court ordered the tabloid Closer to pay the British royal family 100 thousand euros in compensation for moral damage. The reason for this was the publication of pictures of the Duchess Kate Middleton, on which she was engraved topless, reports Daily Mail.

It is reported that the pictures of the duchess were made during family holidays in southern France in 2012. In some of the pictures, Kate Middleton is depicted as half-naked. At the same time, British publications publish photographs of Middleton refused.

The monastic family originally demanded a tabloid payment of 1.5 million euros. However, as a result, they were both awarded 50 thousand in compensation for moral damage. At the same time, the former editor of the publication was fined 90,000 euros, and each of the photographers - for five thousand euros.
