Singer Madonna sued compensation from Associated Newspapers for "the media's invasion of privacy," BBC. It is reported that the reason for filing a lawsuit in court was an article published in MailOnline with data on her adopted daughters.

It is known that the actress adopted the twins in February this year. At the same time, the publication published confidential data about the girls even before the adoption procedure.

"MailOnline published their data at a time when Madonna was powerless, and could not protect the girls from harm," said the lawyer of the performer.

In addition, he added that the disclosure of such information could threaten the results of the adoption process.

The publication reports that compensation, the size of which is not specified, will be donated to the Institute of Pediatric Surgery.

Earlier reported that Madonna intends to move from USA to Portugal.
