Singer Zlata Ognevich almost for the first time said that in fact she was not born in Russia, as many believed.
Most of the star's fans are sure that she was born in Murmansk. However, Zlata denied this information and shared that she was born in Krivoy Rog. She told the details in an interview with the Public.
" In fact, I was born in the city of Krivoy Rog. Since then there was the Soviet Union and, I don’t know what happened there, some kind of confusion with the documents. I found out about this only over time and found out that I was born in Krivoy Rog, although all the documents, the birth certificate were issued in such a way that I was allegedly from Murmansk, "
She shared that at that time her father served in Murmansk, who served on a submarine.
However, Zlata noted that her family is from Ukraine:.
" My dad is from the Kirovograd region, the city of Alexandria. He was born there, grew up there, I often spent my childhood there.. My family from Ukraine. We have always loved Ukraine in the family, we sang Ukrainian songs. All relatives on my father's and mother's side live in Ukraine,"
