On the Instagram page, Colombian chef and Ukrainian presenter Hector Jimenez-Bravo told how he learned about the war and why, having the opportunity, he does not leave Ukraine.

According to Hector, on February 24, he was in Kyiv and saw Russian troops bombing the Ukrainian capital:.

" I saw how my native Kyiv was being bombed. I cried, and after that I could not speak for 20 minutes. At that moment, I felt the incredible power that the Ukrainians gave me for 13 years. My house was attacked. Not to the house of relatives, the house where I am visiting, but my home. We won't be victims, we must fight. I felt it for the first time in my life - this mentality was given to me by the Ukrainians,"

He stressed that when he arrived in Ukraine 13 years ago, he was met by sincere and friendly people..

" But even though I was a foreigner here, people were very kind to me.. Very hospitable, friendly and kind people," In the end, Jimenez-Bravo stressed that after 13 years in Ukraine, he no longer feels like a guest - he considers Ukraine his home.

" On the way, together with the team, we began to organize a charity dinner, plan how we will help Ukrainians, how we will feed, for what and how we will raise money. Because I am obliged - this is my duty to Ukrainians. I have long considered Ukraine my home, but it was at this time that I realized how much I love this place.. These people, these streets and these squares with chestnut trees. I can't stand aside, this is where my heart is. Ukraine is my home, and you are its soul,"
