In the summer, thieves penetrate more than 850 homes monthly in Kiev alone. After all, when the majority of Ukrainians go on vacation, their apartments remain empty and defenseless before deft thieves.

In the new issue of the "Groshi" program of the "1 + 1" channel, journalists showed who from Ukrainian stars suffered from apartment robbers, and what mistakes should not be repeated in order to protect their property.

In particular, among the famous personalities who became victims of "bear cubs", secular lioness and "Miss Ukraine-95" Vlad Litovchenko. While the ex-model was on vacation, the thieves got through the window to her luxurious apartment in Pechersk and opened a safe with jewels.

The thieves also looked to the guitarist of the Ukrainian rock band "Reve ta Stogne" Yevgeny Kotenko. The musician only a year and a half ago drove into an apartment in a new building, which is under round the clock security, has a video surveillance system and concierge in each entrance. However, even these security measures did not save housing. While Eugene was at a rehearsal in his apartment burst robbers and brought expensive equipment worth about 10 thousand dollars, among which the camera, lens and laptop MacBook Pro. And they took the looted thief on the owner's bike through the front door.

In addition, the journalists of the "Groshi" program together with the former criminal who specialized in "cleaning out" the apartments, conducted an experiment and checked how much time a professional needs to find three different caches in the apartment.

He managed in less than 5 minutes, when on average the police need 10 minutes to get to the crime scene.

To protect their property, the Grosha team recommends creating as many obstacles as possible in the way of the robbers: for example, several locks on the doors, grilles or internal safety shutters on the windows. It will take precious time from thieves. It is also better not to save and set up an alarm at home, it can simply distract and frighten the robbers while the guard patrol in transit.
