French President Emmanuel Macron spent 26 thousand euros (more than 783 thousand UAH) on make-up over the past three months.

The French president returned to work this week after probably the shortest presidential vacation in modern French history and was under fire not only because of his controversial plans to reform France's complex labor legislation but also to spend on makeup.

Since joining the Elysee Palace in May, the 39-year-old president has received two bills from a personal make-up artist:

one for 10 thousand euros and the other for 16 thousand.

This figure was voiced by the president's own make-up artist, the mysterious Natasha M. It was she who worked with the president during his election campaign.

Officially, the representatives of the Palace Palace do not comment on this information.
