RIA Novosti reports that Vladimir Putin said that Russia seeks to restore air communication with Egypt.

The President added that the issue of air safety in Egypt could be resolved in the near future. He noted: "We must be absolutely sure that the security of our citizens will be ensured".

Vladimir Putin also accepted an invitation to visit Egypt. Head of State said: "Relations between Russia and Egypt are on the rise. Indeed, the president of Egypt, as-Sisi invited to visit his country, I will do it with pleasure, we only need to choose the right moment ".
