The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has decided to dismiss the director of the Economic Security Bureau, Vadim Melnyk, from his post, Taras Melnychuk, permanent representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada, said on Telegram.

People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak clarified that the former official wrote a letter of resignation " This is evidenced by the fact that two hours before the dismissal, BEB published the news about Melnik's meeting with the business association.

" He usually fronted this story, but first Gmyrin (who was looking after BEB and is now on the wanted list of NABU) was in charge there, and then the deputies, whom he was advised from the president's office.
