Prime Minister of Lower Saxony Stefan Weil believes that Americans have no reason to impose new sanctions against Russia. According to him, Washington should stop pressuring Moscow with the help of tough measures. Two states need to sit down at the negotiating table. "If the United States is planning new sanctions in connection with the treatment in Russia of combat substances, then I have a lot of questions, starting with the very circumstances of the case," RIA Novosti quotes him.. Recall that on August 8, Washington introduced the first package of sanctions against Moscow. The cause was allegedly the poisoning of the Violins in Salisbury. Russia is preparing a response.
