Chairman of the Election Commission of the Sverdlovsk Region Valery Chaynikov announced preliminary results of the election campaign in the Sverdlovsk Region. Yevgeny Kuyvashev scored 788 thousand 942 votes in the governor's election (62.16%).
In second place was Communist Alexei Parfenov, who received 11.64% (147 thousand 751 votes). LDPR member Igor Toroshchin received 5.40%, Green Party candidate Konstantin Kiselev - 4.62%, representative of the Russian party of pensioners for social justice Dmitry Sergin - 3.99%.
A total of 796 mandates were played in the elections to the cities and districts of the Sverdlovsk region.
