President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin may transfer to Kiev illegally held in the Russian Federation Ukrainian journalist Roman Sushchenko as a gesture of welcome to the newly elected French President Emmanuel Macron.

About this on his Facebook page, lawyer Mark Feigin wrote.

He recalled that Sushchenko worked in Paris.

"It is worth recalling to the Kremlin that an appropriate gesture to the new president of France Macron would be the transfer to Kiev of a Ukrainian journalist who worked in Paris and arrested in Moscow, Roman Sushchenko," wrote Feigin.

As reported by the "Observer", in late April 2017 the court in Moscow extended the term of arrest of Sushchenko.
