Ukrainian generals will never give orders to soldiers to cross the Russian border in order to return the Rostov region to the "bosom of Ukraine," such opinion was expressed in the commentary by Major General, ex-military representative of the mission of Ukraine to NATO Peter Garashchuk.

"Such a statement can not be heard from the lips of the head of the Donetsk region. This is complete nonsense. I do not know what happened to Zhebrivsky. No our internal legislation, no international treaties to which Ukraine has joined, will not be violated by our political leadership. And if even one of the politicians in the future gives an order to our soldier to transfer to the territory of another state, I guarantee that the Ukrainian generals will not give it to the soldiers. Because they were trained in academies, where they study legislation and act only within its framework, "said Garashchuk.

In the opinion of the general, it would be worthwhile for the president of Ukraine to immediately refute Zhebrivsky's statement, and all heads of oblasts should pass a special course before the appointment to the posts at the National Defense University and the Diplomatic Academy, so as not to be trapped.

"I would like to reassure the mothers and women of our servicemen that no one will ever give them orders to cross over to the other side," Garashchuk said..

As reported by "Observer", the head of Donetsk regional military-civil administration Pavel Zhebrivsky supported the return of the Rostov region to Ukraine.
