Due to massive Russian shelling, Ukrzaliznytsia was forced to change the routes of a number of trains in the Kyiv region, using reserve bypass tracks, while all key stops for passengers were preserved. The greatest delays currently exceed eight hours - trains No. 85/86 Lviv - Zaporozhye and No. 43/44 Dnepr - Ivano-Frankivsk run more than 8 hours late, and a number of flights are 2-7 hours behind schedule. This was reported by the company's press service. Due to damage and the need to ensure safety on certain sections of the tracks in the Kyiv region, train traffic was limited, which led to delays of dozens of flights throughout the country. The company explained that the decision was made based on the recommendations of rescuers. On certain sections of the railway, the State Emergency Service (SSES) introduced temporary traffic restrictions to ensure the safety of passengers and railway workers after the night attack.

In this regard, Ukrzaliznytsia promptly transferred some of the trains to reserve bypass routes. Despite the changes to traffic patterns, all key stations on the routes remain on schedule, but passengers should be prepared for significant arrival delays. First of all, the changes concern trains No. 93 Kharkov - Kholm, No. 94 Kholm - Kharkov, No. 134 Kamenets-Podolsky - Kyiv, No. 43 Dnepr - Ivano-Frankivsk and No. 104 Lviv - Lozova. It was for these flights that traffic on reserve routes was organized, which makes it possible to maintain communication even in conditions of damaged infrastructure.

At the same time, passengers from many other destinations also felt the consequences of the massive attack.. Due to changes in the schedule and the load on alternative routes, trains between Kiev, Lvov, Dnepr, Zaporozhye, Kharkov, Ivano-Frankivsk, Mukachevo, Truskavets, Krivoy Rog and other cities are running late..

A particular difficulty arose with suburban traffic in the Fastovsky direction.

So that people can get to the capital, Ukrzaliznytsia, together with the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, organized a bus shuttle service between Boyarka and Kiev. This allows for the transportation of passengers in areas where the movement of electric trains is temporarily limited.

Representatives of the carrier note that railway workers are working in an intensive mode in order to stabilize the traffic schedule as quickly as possible. Passengers are advised to closely monitor updates on the departure and arrival times of their flights, as the situation may change depending on the progress of restoration work.
