In the near future, the main sectors of the Ukrainian economy are not expected to both a sharp growth in vacancies and a surge of dismissal. However, the heads of enterprises who predict a change in the number of employees are sure that they will hire new employees less often than losing old. Such moods are preserved in all key areas and are associated with working hands deficiency.

This is stated in the results of a monthly survey of enterprises conducted by the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU). " The heads of enterprises of all sectors further expect a reduction in the total number of employees, the most significant thing is in construction. In the service sector, a slowdown in personnel reduction was expected, ”the document says.

In general, compared with January-2024, the construction, trade and services enterprises had the best expectations regarding the results of their activities, unlike industry enterprises, which showed assessments below the seasonal level. "

Also, a serious shortage of employees stated at the enterprises of the construction?. In this industry, their future successes appreciated even more modestly than in all others, even though the situation has improved over the past year.

Pessimistic estimates for the total number of employees were also preserved by the heads of the trading sector. A little better were waiting in the field of services, where they are also tuned to increase prices.

It is especially difficult to find employees if representatives of the working profession are required. This leads to the so -called structural unemployment. As a result, immigrants have to retrain and master new professions. However, not everyone can quickly integrate into the labor market of a foreign city.

Another problem: according to the UN, the number of migrants outside Ukraine continues to grow. As of December 16 last year, it has already reached 6.8 million people, but the exact number of refugees is unknown.

Some people went to Russia, in addition, double accounting is taking place in the EU: one refugee can “be considered” in Poland, where, for example, he was some time, and in Germany, where he moved over time.

And until 2030, from 5 to 10 million workers will not be enough in Ukraine, but you can increase labor resources at the expense of the country's own potential. To do this, it is important to expand the participation of women, veterans and other unfortunate population groups in the economy.
