In September, the average nominal wage in Ukraine amounted to 9402 hryvnia. This was reported in the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
The Ministry noted that the September figure is 2.4 times higher than the minimum figure and 12.9% more than in September 2017.
"Salaries above the average were received at industrial enterprises, especially in pharmaceuticals (UAH 16,400), oil refining (UAH 11,400) and metallurgy (UAH 11,200), transport,. The average salary in education almost doubled the minimum and amounted to 7176 hryvnia. In medicine - 5730 hryvnia, "- said in a statement.
