In 2017, Ukraine exported 11 million liters of beer to the EU, which is 3% of the total volume of the product imported to the European Union.

As noted by analysts of the company Pro-Consulting, in 2017, the export of Ukrainian beer increased by 50%, compared with 2016.
The main importer of Ukrainian beer in the EU was Lithuania (8.2% of all deliveries), which is among the four consumer countries since 2014. Then half of the whole exported beverage was sent to Russia, 20% to Belarus and almost the same to Moldova.
Last year beer was practically not exported to Russia, and supplies to Belarus and Moldova decreased by 8 million liters. , however, the beer sector supported new markets. Thus, Ukraine exported 18 million liters to Algeria. Beer - this is 17.7% of all exports in 2017.
At the same time, the beer market in Ukraine for the first time since 2009 stopped falling. The beer market in 2017 grew by 0.1% - to 164.5 million decaliters.
