The volume of state and publicly guaranteed debt of Ukraine in May in dollar terms by $ 0.79 billion, or 1%, to $ 76.26 billion. This is reported by the Ministry of Finance on the official website.
In hryvnia equivalent, the volume of public debt for this period decreased by 27.97 billion UAH, or 1.38%, to 1.99 trillion UAH.
The Ministry of Finance specifies that for five months - in comparison with the indicator at the beginning of this year - the volume of state debt decreased by 0.07% in dollar terms and by 6.94% in UAH equivalent.
In April, the national debt fell by 0.41%, or by $ 0.32 billion, to $ 77.05 billion, and in the hryvnia equivalent - by 1.59%, or by UAH 32.62 billion, to UAH 2.02 trillion.
