Import of goods to Ukraine exceeded exports by almost $ 1.5 billion dollars

In January-April 2018, imports of goods exceeded exports by $ 1,422.9 million, reports the Left Bank with reference to the State Statistical Service.

During January-April, the negative balance of trade in goods worsened by $ 454.3 million compared to January-April 2017 (in January-April 2017, the negative balance was $ 968.6 million).

Exports of goods in January-April 2018 amounted to $ 15,456.9 million, while it increased by 12.8% compared with January-April 2017.

Import of goods in January-April 2018 amounted to 16,879.8 million dollars, an increase of 15.1%.

In 2017, exports of services exceeded imports by $ 5,087.4 million.
