Today power unit No. 5 of Zaporizhzhya NPP is disconnected from the power system and put into scheduled overhaul. The repair time will be 83 days - until August 4, 2018. This was reported to the "Chief" in the ZNPP information center. During the repair period it is planned to perform the following basic routine works: overhaul of the reactor facility with core overload and control of the reactor vessel; overhaul of the steam generator - 4; overhaul of the main circulation pump - 2; overhaul of the electric motor of the main circulation pump - 2; overhaul of the pressure compensator; current repair of thermal mechanical equipment of diesel generators of reserve diesel power stations - 1,2,3,0; control and preventive works on the system of prestressing of the protective shell;
overhaul of the emergency cooldown heat exchanger; average repair of the steam turbine with opening of the cylinder of low pressure - 2; major overhaul of technologically interconnected equipment: turbogenerator - exciter - switch - current conductor; overhauling phase "A", current repair of phases "B", "C" of the block transformer In addition, it is planned to carry out super-planning and implementation of measures to reduce the concentration of hydrogen in the hermetic shell for beyond design basis accidents.
