The new Ukrainian airline SkyUp plans to receive an operator's certificate allowing flights to be performed in the first week of May, rather than in April, as previously planned, according to avianews. com with a reference to the general director of the air carrier Eugene Hajnacki.

According to him, the schedule shift is connected with the implementation of the final procedures for obtaining airworthiness for aircraft and certification checks of the enterprise.

"The aircraft undergo periodic maintenance, and, unfortunately, the release of aircraft from service forms is delayed for several days. Consequently, the schedules of the procedures for inspecting the aircraft themselves are shifted, "explained the head of SkyUp.

As Yevgeny Haynatsky noted, at the moment two SkyUp aircraft have already been registered and entered in the register of civil aircraft of Ukraine. This is the 189-seat Boeing 737-800 2013 release, which was previously operated by Malaysia Airlines. The aircraft were registered with UR-SQA and UR-SQB.

First time SkyUp intends to carry out charter flights from Ukraine abroad, in the future the airline plans to enter the market of scheduled flights from Ukraine abroad and within Ukraine.
