Earlier, the chairman of the board of Naftogaz of Ukraine, Andrei Kobelev, said in an interview with Deutsche Welle that the loss of the country's economy in the event of the termination of the transit of Russian gas would be very painful and amount to "approximately $ 3.5 billion. Somewhere 2-3 percent of GDP ". It should be reminded that Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller told journalists that the issue of refusing gas transit through Ukraine was never raised. The transit can remain at the level of 10-15 billion cubic meters per year in the event that Ukraine proves the economic feasibility of the new contract.
