The work of the mission will last until February 16. As the Fund informed, during the work the IMF representatives will discuss with the authorities technical issues of cooperation.
Earlier, the official representative of the fund, William Murray, said that the International Monetary Fund does not have any temporary reference points regarding the arrival of the mission to Ukraine regarding the provision of the next tranche of the loan.
At the same time, as reported by URA-Inform, the National Bank of Ukraine admitted the possibility of termination of cooperation with the IMF or a revision of the financing program. This situation arose due to the fact that Ukraine did not fully implement the terms of the fund.
In particular, the law on the Anti-Corruption Court was not adopted and the issue of gas prices for the population was not settled.
