As noted, since January 1, 2018, the special consumer tax on all alcoholic beverages has increased by at least 7.1%. At the same time tax rates for tobacco products and cigarettes did not change at all.
According to experts, the tax increase will add at least 3% to the value of finished retail products.
By the way, in the Ukrainian state, the revision of the excise tax on alcohol in the current year is not yet provided. The corresponding initiative of the Cabinet was not supported by the Verkhovna Rada.
Recall, as previously reported, "URA-Inform, since the new year in Latvia as part of the tax reform, the changes in excise tax rates come into effect. As a result, fuel prices are rising in the country.
