Russians are still among the three most active tourists in the EU countries

Over the past 10 years, the number of nights spent by Chinese tourists in European hotels, increased by 356% (3.5 times).

Brazil - in second place in terms of the growth in the number of tourists and the duration of their stay in the EU: 239% more nights in 2016 than in 2006.

Russia closes the top three - Russians spent 189% more nights in Europe than 10 years ago.

Europeans themselves also began to stay in hotels of other European countries (by 123%).

Among non-European destinations, the Europeans enjoyed the most popularity of the United States: 19% of European tourists visited there in 2016. On the second place - Turkey (13%), on the third - Switzerland (12%). Russia - on the 5th place with 5%, it was bypassed by Norway, where 7% of European tourists go.
